Devakumaran Manickavasagan (Deva Manick), born in 1987 in Ratingen, has been studying the transformation of different cultures in Germany for over 10 years. He achieved this through exchanges with affected people, accompanied by numerous observations and personal experiences of living between two cultures. During the refugee crisis that hit Germany in 2015, he was able to make a valuable contribution to the newly arrived people in Germany with his active support as a supervisor and later as the director of an emergency shelter. The author has been active in the field of children's and youth work for many years, refuting his research and observations, which he personally made in the Glass House.
