Derrek Space was born in Dallas, Texas, and has lived in Coral Gables, Florida and the Greater New York City area for the majority of his life. Over the course of the last 20 years, he has dedicated his career in the field of Finance, working for some of the most prestigious companies around, including Lehman Brothers, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), PepsiCo, AIG, and Aetna, among a few. In 2018, Derrek started a Management (Turnaround) Consulting Agency called Consultgenix, where he has worked for, and helped, small to medium-sized businesses improve their revenue, grow their marketing/sales, improve operational efficiencies and bring more profitability to their bottom line. Derrek holds a B.S.B.A from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut. Derrek is an avid reader and writer, and has been published in several magazines over the past year. He currently lives in Coral Gables, Florida, with his wife and his two children.
