Her debut book, Surviving My Husband’s Stroke, is a raw and honest memoir about life after her husband suffered a massive stroke. Overnight, she became a wife-turned-caregiver with no instructions — just love, fear, and a need to keep going. Through honest storytelling and reflection, Denise creates a sense of connection for anyone walking a similar path.

A Kent State University graduate, Denise lives in Ohio and is currently working on a companion workbook to help caregiver wives manage the emotional and practical shifts of caregiving. Whether through journaling prompts or quiet reminders of strength, her work invites women to pause, breathe, and know they’re not alone.
