Della Ross Ferreri is a children’s writer and retired teacher. She is the author of delightful picture books, board books and beginning readers. Her newest picture book, THE MOUSE BUFFET: A CHRISTMAS TREAT is humorous rhyming story about four mischievous mice who raid the family's Christmas desserts, trying so hard not to wake the sleeping cat. Della's other books include: HUGGLE WUGGLE, BEDTIME SNUGGLE, a playful daddy-daughter bedtime board book, PRECIOUS BABY, a sweet board book for new parents to share with their baby, and GOD BLESSES ME, an engaging llift-the-flap board book for toddlers. Coming in 2028, JANE THE TRAIN AND THE CHRISTMAS STORM introduces a clever, can-do train who battles a snow storm while delivering baking supplies to Santa at the North Pole In addition to her books, Della's poems and stories have appeared in children’s magazines such as Highlights High Five, Ladybug and Clubhouse Jr. As a co-founder of CWHV – Children’s Writers of the Hudson Valley – she helps organize local writing conferences. Della also enjoys presenting author visits for pre-K to grade 5 students at elementary schools. Della lives in the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York with her family. In addition to writing, Della enjoys reading, movies, traveling, disc golf, leisurely walks, and cheering for her family at running races.
