Born in Castro Valley, CA, Deborah Rae Cota ventured into many arenas seeking a home, but pen and paper have always filled the void. Drawing from stories of her family and childhood, this former musician and retired photographer, spins a fantastical story set against the background of the San Francisco-Bay Area where she grew up. The Dante’s tale is planned for a series of eight books, but she may be talked into a few more tales or perhaps a spin-off series. When Deborah isn’t writing, she’s cooking for her family, or screaming in the stands of her favorite local sports teams where she lives, breathes & works in the beautiful Bay Area.
