Debbie Widhalm is an avid observer of life and people. As an award winning co-author of her first publishment, she wrote chapter 2 in COURAGE UNDER SIEGE, VOLUME 7, called I FOUND MY VOICE. THE STORY OF TOPS THE CHINESE GOOSE, a delightful children's book that teaches LOVE, GRIEF, and INCLUSION, has just been published. She has lived her life accepting people where they are with a deep love that does not see race, religion or color. Empathy has guided her journey as she teaches lessons on surviving the odds, overcoming, death, grief and love. In this time of social and political unrest, it may be refreshing to see lack of judgement guiding a lesson. She tells many stories of trauma, survival, fear, love, death, grief, power and overcoming. She encourages people to find their voice as it has been stifled by abuse, neglect, judgement or misunderstandings. She has experience dealing with grief on a major level throughout life both personally and professionally, as a former Burn Nurse.
