Deb Hazlett writes about resilience, self-reliance, and the quiet turning points that reshape a life. Her memoir, Before Tomorrow, grew from a decision she made at sixty-five to leave behind a long-established life and begin again—this time on her own terms.

After decades spent working, raising a family, and living within the expectations placed on women of her generation, she downsized nearly everything she owned, purchased a travel trailer, and set out alone to explore the country. What began as a physical journey became something quieter and more personal—an exploration of independence, self-trust, and the freedom that comes from living in alignment with who you are.

She is from California and continues to travel and write. She is currently at work on her novel Where the Roots Hold.
