David de Léon is an expert on how humans interact with physical and digital artefacts. During a typical workweek, he conducts user research, designs things, tells compelling stories, and coaches his colleagues to do the same. Much of his work entails coming up with new ideas or helping others do so. Through the years, he has therefore developed and collected methods and insights on how to get the creative juices flowing. This is the topic of one of his recent books. In his free time, David reads philosophy, psychology and science fiction, writes essays, plays with his wife, chats with his kids, or lies immobile on the sofa for hours, daydreaming.
