David is about fusion and ideation - his diverse background gives him a powerful mix of skills and he brings all parts of himself together in unique and innovative ways. In his third career as a family enterprise advisor, David helps families make good decisions together and navigate the complexities of wealth. He also mentors and advises family businesses and entrepreneurs on how to successfully systemize their businesses so that they can create enduring value, become exit-ready, and achieve both their personal and business goals. He is a best-selling author on wealth transition, an experienced non-executive director, family office principal, and a dynamic speaker and educator. He was previously a software geek and a tech entrepreneur with several startups under his belt. David is a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School, Adjunct Industry Fellow (entrepreneurship) at Swinburne University, and on the faculty for the Family Dynamics domain at the UHNW Institute. He is deeply engaged with community through a number of non-profits, and is writing his second book - about the challenges of the modern always-connected digital world. In between all that, he is passionate about sport. David lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife and family.
