It's interesting how "God works in mysterious ways" as they say...In this case when I got the call from my Aunt Leda "David your mom has 24 hours to live and you need to come and come now." I had no job, no family, no responsibilities really, so I tossed a few things in my car and headed off on an 18-hour drive to be with my mom.
