Under Dr. David A. Schippers' academic leadership at Walsh College, doctoral enrollment has grown by 50 percent, more than 97 courses have been modernized in one year, and one of Michigan's first dedicated bachelor's degree programs in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was architected from concept through launch. These are measurable institutional outcomes produced by a leader who treats artificial intelligence not as a feature to be added but as an architectural reckoning requiring deliberate, evidence-driven integration across curriculum, research, and governance.

Dr. Schippers serves as Vice President, Chief Academic Officer, and Provost at Walsh College. He holds a Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University, earned at a 4.0 GPA, with dissertation research on Digital Image Source Authentication. He holds the CISSP credential and more than two decades of cybersecurity practice across digital forensics, network security, autonomous systems, and national defense.

He currently chairs or serves on over a dozen active doctoral dissertation committees across Walsh College's DBA and Doctor of Philosophy in Technology programs. His candidates investigate applied research at the frontier of AI ethics, cybersecurity resilience, cognitive systems, organizational behavior, and education equity, domains Dr. Schippers does not merely supervise but actively frames and advances.

As Founder and Chief Executive Manager of Iron Dog LLC, he has developed the Amplified Intelligence framework, the Cognitive Assessment Framework, the Integrated Empath High IQ Model, and the CtQ Cybersecurity and Technology Quotient assessment; instruments addressing the consequential unanswered question of the AI era: not what AI can do, but what the human must become to remain cognitively sovereign within it. The Iron Dog ecosystem, AmplifiedGlobal, AmplifiedEducation, and AmplifiedIntelligence, operationalizes his research into deployable coaching infrastructure for leaders, educators, and institutions navigating AI integration.

Dr. Schippers is the author of nine books spanning AI adoption, cybersecurity strategy, executive leadership, academic mentorship, and cognitive frameworks. His publishing model is architecturally intentional: each title is linked to a corresponding AI coaching instrument, reflecting his thesis that knowledge without deployment infrastructure is incomplete.

His active research converges cybersecurity, AI architecture, doctoral education, and cognitive systems, including an ongoing initiative in AI cognitive replication, into a body of work few others in the field occupy.

Dr. Schippers has contributed to national defense research as a co-author in the Cybersecurity Military Vehicle Industry Collaborative with the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center. He has presented at the National Cyber Summit, Auto-ISAC Global Conference, SPIE Defense plus Commercial Sensing, the Detroit Economic Club, and an international connected vehicle conference in Bangalore, India. His media appearances include WJR, WXYZ, Local 4 Detroit Live, the Mitch Albom Show, and the EdUp Experience podcast.

Dr. Schippers does not operate at the edge of the AI conversation. He is one of the architects shaping its trajectory in higher education, cybersecurity, and organizational intelligence. His work answers the question institutions have not yet learned to ask: not whether to integrate AI, but how to ensure the humans navigating it are amplified rather than replaced.
