David L. Wadley is an award-winning author, filmmaker, and former federal Immigration Services Officer whose work explores technology, power, race, wealth, and the rapidly changing American landscape.

He is the author of The AI Revolution: African American Trilogy. The first novel, The AI Revolution Will Not Be Televised, received the Literary Titan Gold Book Award and was a 2025 Readers’ Favorite Finalist in Fiction–Urban. The third novel, Bulls, Bears, and Bad Bitches, won the 2026 Readers’ Favorite Bronze Medal in Fiction–Urban.

Wadley is also the author of AI Stocks Made Simple, a beginner-focused guide to AI investing and online trading.

His entertainment background includes writing, producing, and directing the independent feature Dark Angels and working as a Supervising Sound Editor on Soul Plane. Film and television adaptation rights for The AI Revolution trilogy are represented by RAMO Law.

Wadley is a Lifetime Member of the Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA), an organization dedicated to advancing African American literature, improving library services and resources for African American communities, and supporting the professional development of African American librarians. His lifetime membership reflects his commitment to expanding the visibility, accessibility, and representation of African American voices in literature.
