David Koenig is editorial director for 526 Media Group, Costa Mesa, Ca. He received his degree in journalism from California State University, Fullerton. He has contributed to or been interviewed for articles in literally hundreds of publications, including The Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Orange County Register, and Orlando Sentinel, and appeared on scores of TV and radio programs, for ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, the Travel Channel, and much more His nine books include best-selling "Mouse Tales: A Behind-the-Ears Look at Disneyland," as well as "Shooting Columbo: The Lives & Deaths of TV’s Rumpled Detective,"Unshot Columbo: Cracking the Cases That Never Got Filmed," "Realityland: True-Life Adventures at Walt Disney World," "Danny Kaye: King of Jesters," "Mouse Under Glass: Secrets of Disney Animation & Theme Parks," "More Mouse Tales: A Closer Peek Backstage at Disneyland," "The People v. Disneyland: How Lawsuits & Lawyers Transformed the Magic," "The 55ers: The Pioneers Who Settled Disneyland." He has also edited, designed and published a number of books, including the Ultimate Edition of Randy Skretvedt’s seminal "Laurel & Hardy: The Magic Behind the Movies," multiple "Laurel & Hardy Movie Scripts" books, "The Columbo Companion," "Columbo Explains the Seventies," "A Walk in the Park," and "The Last Original Disneylander." David lives in Southern California.
