Born and raised in San Diego California, this author is a former US Marine and commercial electrician. These books were written after a near death experience and a change of life. After suffering from major cognitive issues due to meningitis, David struggled for quite some time adjusting to his new life. His writings help him regain some sense of peace.. Raised in San Diego California Mr. Donahue survived childhood abuse, suicide in the family and many trials and tribulations throughout his life. From a successful stint in the Marine Corps and Navy to homelessness surviving on the beaches of California, he has experienced many ups and downs in life. David also writes Kindle books on the sport of surfing which he had the joy of participating in for years. His newest book, a work of fiction entitled "The Sunrise Murders" is a fast paced ride into the dark side of reality. John Brodis, the lead detective on a serial murder case, finds himself in a cat and mouse game with a lunatic. The clock is ticking and who knows when it will stop.
