Today, David provides his expertise to the world as the Family Values Expert. His message is that it takes more than a person's unique or immediate village and the factors within that village to be successful. He has degrees in Sociology, Political Science, and Math Education from Grand Valley State University and Wayne State University. David takes family very seriously. He married his wife in 2015 and they have been happily married since. Both have the same mission and goal believing that their purpose in life is giving back to their community. They started a tutoring business called Simple Math LLC to provide math tutoring services for K-12 and college students in the Detroit area. They have recently given birth to their first child. David continues to maintain a healthy balance with family, career and education as he pursue his Ph.D in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Wayne State University. In addition to serving as a husband, father, author and speaker, David works as a full-time math teacher at a middle school in the City of Detroit. David believes that anyone can succeed in life as long as they employ a distinctive set of family values from a positive, optimistic and progressive source.
