Daniel Sheley is a storyteller, musician, and Navy veteran with a passion for building worlds where myth and truth collide. Born in Bradenton, Florida and shaped by life’s harshest trials, Daniel weaves personal experience into epic narratives that explore identity, resilience, and the power of found family. His second novel, Heartcoil, fuses steampunk grit with emotional realism—crafted in just 30 days from the bones of an old draft and forged into something entirely new. Lux Mendacium, his debut, launched a sweeping fantasy saga that explores power, indoctrination, and the unraveling of inherited truths. When he’s not writing, Daniel is composing heartfelt songs for his children, designing immersive RPG campaigns, or theorizing about nested realities in the cosmos. He lives in Texas with his wife, their blended family of five children, and a pack of loyal dogs.
