Daniel was born in Devon, UK. He moved to New Zealand when he was nine, where he currently resides with his wife. After graduating with a PhD in chemistry at twenty-nine, Daniel shifted his creative focus towards delving into the fantasy universe that had been building inside his head over the years; a result of extensive gaming, reading, and philosophical conversations. As the universe took shape, a selection of characters were developed and placed in this world. The Sum Of Four is a result of the unfolding journeys of these characters, and their influence on the world of Vallis and the wider Thuric'Verse.
