Dan Gold is a father, friend, lifelong learner and proud Fairfield, CT resident. Growing up in the Midwest, his experiences shaped a lasting passion for both sports and storytelling. After exploring a variety of professions and collecting valuable lessons along the way, he reached the “I’d better write it down” stage of life. Gold is the recipient of the 2025 READERS’ FAVORITE GOLD MEDAL for his debut book Game Changers: Inspirational Sports Stories. His writing explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, love, relationships and how to live a more meaningful life. As an author, Dan is focused on creating books that inspire young readers to build confidence, cultivate character, form meaningful connections and aim high.
