Damian Lewis is an author and founder of Call Me First, a movement focused on helping men become better leaders at home.
Raised between Jamaica and Newark, New Jersey, Damian’s perspective on manhood was shaped by his own experiences as a husband, father, and a man who had to learn that providing for a family and leading one are two different things.
His first book, Call Me First: A Man’s Blueprint for True Leadership at Home, was written for men who want to become the person their wife, children, and family know they can depend on. His work covers fatherhood, marriage, communication, discipline, accountability, emotional maturity, and breaking generational cycles.
Damian does not write from the perspective of a man who has always gotten everything right. Much of his work comes from lessons he had to learn in his own life, including mistakes, growth, marriage, fatherhood, and understanding what leadership actually requires once other people are depending on you.
He is also the author of 25 Things Every Man Should Do Before Marriage and other resources created to help men become more intentional about the way they live, lead, and show up for their families.
Through Call Me First, Damian continues to write, teach, and speak to everyday men who want to become better husbands, better fathers, and more dependable men.
