Damian Kelly has lived in the southeast for most of his life, calling Greenville, Nashville, Raleigh, and Richmond all home at different points. The son of Irish emigrants, the New York City-born southerner spent his career in the technology industry working as a leader in a global consulting firm. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a computer science degree, he completed his MBA at Vanderbilt University. He now lives in Raleigh with his wife Natalie. He has two grown children, a daughter in Seattle and a son in Atlanta.

Damian has always loved problem solving and puzzles and long harbored a dream of writing a book. His retirement in 2025 gave him the chance to make it happen. His first novel, Full Circle, follows Liam Conner – a former CIA analyst and special investigator – who finds himself getting pulled back into a life he had tried to leave behind more than a decade ago.
