Hi, I’m Dakota Brimage! I write dark fantasy stories about love, loss, and the wild, messy journey of self-discovery—because honestly, who hasn’t wondered what they'd sacrifice to hold onto love? When I’m not lost in a world of dragons, curses, and emotional chaos, you can usually find me buried under a pile of blankets, eating an unreasonable number of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and binge-watching Harry Potter with my husband and our two little boys (who are either casting spells or climbing furniture—sometimes both). In 2016, I joined the United States Marine Corps and spent three unforgettable years in the Airwing as a Supply Specialist. But even with my boots laced tight and logistics on my mind, I never stopped dreaming about fantasy realms and the stories I wanted to tell. I married my high school sweetheart in 2017, and that kicked off a whole new adventure—figuring out who I really am and what I want to bring into the world. These days, I’m a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling our boys, wrangling chaos with love, and somehow still carving out time to pursue my BS in Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis (because behavior science is basically real-life magic).
