D.W. Ross is a fantasy author based on the west coast of Scotland, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He grew up reading epic fantasy and never really stopped. The stories that stayed with him were built on ancient powers, forgotten histories, impossible choices and battles that lingered long after the final page. The journey to becoming an author was a long one. After years of ideas and stories that never quite reached the page, he finally committed to the world that had been waiting to be written. That became The Onyxborn Chronicles. He is currently working on The Age of Reckoning, a four-book epic fantasy series inspired by ancient cultures, empire and the struggle between freedom and conquest. The first instalment, The Seeds of Rebellion, is due in 2027. When he’s not writing, he’s usually spending time with his family, running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, listening to heavy music, lifting weights with friends, or drinking far too much sugar-free Irn-Bru.
