DL Gleason was born in Kansas City, Missouri and has lived there his whole life. He loves being a midwesterner and can't imagine a better place to live on the planet. He is very passionate about his family, (Wife Hannah and three children: David, Olivia and Hendrix), the outdoors, wrestling, music (he plays the guitar) and writing. He has a college degree from William Jewell College in Liberty, MO in Business Administration and his current profession is a Business Consultant with Farmers Insurance. DL published his first book in 2019. This book, "Suffer The Children", was started by his father in 2003. His father passed away in a tragic school bus accident and 14 years later, DL finally finished his father's dream of becoming a published author. DL's father's passing was very hard on him and his family as it was totally out of the blue. Dave Gleason, his father, was a great man and a wonderful father who filled his 5 children with love and a passion for knowledge. DL loves to be challenged and his best quality is perhaps his persistence. He never gives up when he sets his mind on something. The future is exciting as his writing career is young, but he hopes to publish many more books, including children's books. He has recorded for his children dozens of original childrens' books that they listen to at bedtime. He appreciates being alive every day and feels blessed to have such a wonderful family and place on this Earth.
