I've lived mostly in Hawaii and New Mexico: two very different places, each rich with multiple cultures, complex histories, and spectacular natural beauty. After a shockingly misspent youth, I managed to rein in my restless spirit- just a little- and found myself sober, married, and in med school. I spent years as a psychiatrist, trying to make sense of life while working with some of the most interesting people on the planet. Science fiction is the genre most relevant to the accelerating inflection point we as a race are passing through- to paraphrase Yuval Noah Harari- and is hands-down the most fun to write. So after decades of procrastination- possibly a world record- I got around to writing Killer Aliens Vs. Badass Teens!
