Her prior 7 years experience as a state, Tribal, and U.S. Territorial prosecutor provide a provocative insight into the darker sides of crime and criminals. She has tried over 200 criminal jury trials as an Assistant State District Attorney, and as an Assistant Attorney General for American Samoa and for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She has lived in England, American Samoa, South Dakota, New Orleans, Kentucky and her roots are in her home state, Mississippi. In addition to reading and writing suspense novels, she enjoys historic preservation projects, gardening, and traveling.
