A graduate of the University of Chicago and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Cris Harris teaches writing and experiential education at an independent school outside of Cleveland, Ohio and spends summers running, writing, growing tomatoes, and restoring a turn of the century barn. His essays have appeared recently at Post Road, Alice Blue Review, Proximity Magazine, The New Engagement, Nowhere Magazine and are forthcoming at the Indiana Review. In 2018, he received an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award for nonfiction.
