Courtney was born on the tiny island of Saipan, raised on an ostrich ranch in rural Arizona, and attended a performing arts school... until she moved to LA to pursue fashion and costume design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. But California wasn't her vibe, so she returned home to begin a fantasy art business... but then she discovered cosplay.

Courtney eventually started a costume design business where, over the course of 13 years, she made over 2,000 costumes for films, theatre, and clients all over the world. But what was happening behind the scenes led to where she is today and that was BOOKS. So many books. And in 2019 she finally published her first romance novel, Ash Bringer.
