Corinna Wieja has always enjoyed immersing herself in the world of books. As an author, she loves to write entertaining and stories with heart and humor which she likes to spice up with a pinch of magic. They feature all the creatures she sometimes misses in the real world: ghosts, witches, cuddly monsters, pocket genies, and adventurers big and small. If she could do magic herself, she would wish for a Mary Poppins' magic bag and her flying umbrella. Her favorite color is blue like the ocean, her favorite book is of course Mary Poppins and Michael Ende's "Die unendliche Geschichte", her favorite flower is lavender and her favorite animals are her two cats and butterflies. As a translator, she prefers to translate books in the genres she herself likes to read: historical novels, cozy mysterys, and humorous, romantic books with a magical touch.
