Colleen is the author of five books, holds a Masters Degree and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, Usui Reiki Master, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Alternative Healing Consultant and Shamanic Practitioner. She has been exploring health and wellness, self-healing, personal growth, and spiritual development for nearly 30 years. Colleen is a teacher and a healer who knows from personal experience what it is like to be devastatingly ill, fatigued, depressed, frustrated, and lost. For ten years, Colleen was one of the hopeless who suffered from a chronic illness that traditional medicine could not effectively treat. Determined to live life fully again, she embarked on a journey of self-healing and spiritual awakening that led to complete recovery and a comprehensive program that benefits all who follow it. Suffering from chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome, fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, hypoglycemia and asthma for ten years was my wake up call. When the medical community had no cures I began my search for healing in the alternative world. This led me to many beautiful paths including energy work and shamanism. Since healing myself my path has been to be of healing service to others. To teach the ways of healing, harmony and balance, living impeccably to one's self and in honor and connection with Spirit. I do this through book writing, workshops, shamanic apprenticeships and my private practice in counseling and shamanic healing. I am a graduate of the two year intensive Shamanic Teacher Training Program taught by Sandra Ingerman, and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies' Three Year Program in Advanced Shamanism and Shamanic Healing taught by Michael Harner and Sandra Ingerman. I have also studied with reknown shamanism teachers: Myron Eshowsky, Tom Cowan, Larry Peters, Patrick Jasper Lee, Betsy Bergstrom, and others.
