Cleo Lampos is a retired educator, chaplain, and compassionate storyteller whose writing is deeply rooted in faith, human connection, and emotional resilience. Throughout her life, Cleo has been shaped by personal experiences of hardship, healing, caregiving, and survival experiences that ultimately inspired her lifelong mission of bringing comfort, dignity, and companionship to others, especially senior citizens and forgotten members of society.

Her latest work, Ministry in a Room, reflects a deeply personal journey that transformed her understanding of loneliness, ministry, and the power of simply being present for another human being. Drawing from years of presenting programs to senior citizens in many settings, Cleo writes with heartfelt sincerity about the emotional and spiritual needs of those approaching the final chapter of life.

In addition to inspirational nonfiction, Cleo is also known for her historical fiction novels centered around the orphan trains of the late 1800s and the struggles faced by ordinary people during the Great Depression. Across all of her books, her storytelling is guided by themes of compassion, faith, healing, perseverance, and the quiet strength found in everyday people.

Cleo lives with her husband in a Chicago suburb where they enjoy gardening, family life, and visits from their children and grandchildren. Whether through writing, ministry, or personal connection, she continues to encourage others to lead with kindness, presence, and love.
