I once read avidly, but I don't anymore. If I were to get engrossed in another author's book, I might begin to sound derivative in what I write.

Call me jaded, but I believe too many novels share similar ideas, situations, characters, and plot devices.

I don't follow writing trends; I don't go to writer's conventions; I don't do social media; and I have no network of people to bounce ideas off. I attempt to write stories that solely originate in my imagination: interesting rather than what might be regarded as marketable. My stories have no sex; no foul language; and are suitable for teens. Yet they are adventure stories; action-packed.

Most of all, I write and paint to please myself: I make art suited to my individual taste.

My newest book, "One Hundred Per Cent Box," is about hypnotic TV, love, and war. (2026)

"The Telesynthetic Man" and "The Telesynthetic War" concern telepathy, politics, family, and spaceships. (2015 & 2016)

"Orphans of the Nexus" tells the tale of twin alien girls brought to Earth and raised by different sets of parents. (2017)

"SEC-39" is a political fable set in New York 200 years from now. (2020)

"The First Harmony" is science fiction about "The Everwars," and universal peace. (2010)

"Bladeborn" is a six-book fantasy series about a man born with nearly unlimited power. I completed "Bladeborn" in 2013.

I have written nearly a thousand rhyming poems over the last fifty years and painted nearly a thousand pictures. 133 poems and over a hundred paintings are reproduced in the 545-page book "Love Verse Volume Seven: The Good Life." The book opens with 31 never-before-published poems. Most of the poems are about the love my wife and I share. None of the art in this hardbound collection utilized AI.
