Cindy J. Anderson has two passions: educating people and serving others. As an educator, Bible study leader, and art docent, Cindy enjoys helping people find meaning in what's in front of them, whether a text, Bible passage, piece of art, or an image in nature. Cindy is an award-winning French teacher, teaching students from 1st grade through college. Cindy has a B.A. from Augustana College (IL) in Elementary Education and Secondary Education and French and a M.A. in French from Northern Illinois University. In her devotionals, "My Walks with Remi", her skill in analyzing French literature has translated into a talent for seeing images in nature and applying God's life lessons to them as she guides readers in learning to seek God's presence in everyday life. In her Middle Grade mystery/adventure "The Suitcase Adventures - Paris: Behind the Peacock Gate", readers learn about French history, art, language, and culture as they watch the page-turning mystery unfold. A native of St. Charles, IL, Cindy lived in Connecticut and Kansas before moving to Southern California. She is fortunate to be surrounded by God's artistry and enjoys life with her Portuguese Water Dog, Gio.
