Christopher Voss, MD, MBA, MS, MLS, FCCP, RPNI, is a physician, healthcare leader, author, and lifelong student of how human beings heal. His work is grounded in the belief that healthcare should do more than manage disease — it should help people move toward true health, safety, dignity, and wholeness. Dr. Voss has cared for patients at the bedside, led clinical teams, developed telemedicine programs, and studied the larger systems that shape how care is delivered. These experiences have shaped his belief that better healthcare requires both compassion at the individual level and thoughtful redesign at the system level. He is board certified in Clinical Informatics and Healthcare Administration, Leadership, and Management through the American Board of Preventive Medicine, along with multiple additional specialties including Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, Neurocritical Care, Pain Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. He is also certified in Transesophageal Echocardiography and Critical Care Echocardiography, is a Registered Physician in Neurovascular Interpretation, and is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. His training includes medicine, research, business, law, health information technology, healthcare leadership, integrative medicine, and artificial intelligence governance. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, completed research training at the National Cancer Institute, trained at Stanford, UCSF, Emory, and Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and pursued additional graduate and executive education through Duke University, Columbia University, Washington University in St. Louis, the California Health Care Foundation, UCSF, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Dr. Voss is President of Medical Specialists Associates, PC, a multi-state medical group with a strong telemedicine focus. He writes about patient safety, healthcare reform, clinical systems, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in medicine. His goal is to help build healthcare systems that focus on building health instead of only managing disease.
