Christopher Meeks is the author of award-winning literary fiction known for its blend of humor, insight, and deeply human storytelling. His work has appeared in numerous literary journals, including Rosebud, and his collection "Months and Seasons" was longlisted for the Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award. He is the author of multiple novels, including "The Brightest Moon of the Century," "Love at Absolute Zero," "Blood Drama," "A Death in Vegas," and "The Chords of War" (written with Samuel Gonzalez Jr.), as well as three short story collections. His writing spans literary, comic, and crime fiction, unified by a focus on characters searching for meaning, connection, and a place in the world. Meeks has taught creative writing at the University of Southern California, CalArts, UCLA, Santa Monica College, and ArtCenter College of Design. He lives in Los Angeles. Across his work, Meeks brings a distinctive voice—at once humane, quietly funny, and deeply attuned to the complexities of modern life.
