Christopher Amato is married, a proud father of three sons and grandfather to two intelligent, curious boys. He and his wife reside in North Carolina. From the time he was a kid, he had always wanted to work in law enforcement. He earned a degree with honors in Criminology from Florida State University and was able to secure his first real job with the Department of Justice. Later, he worked for the Department of Defense. Although neither job was anything like he remembered from television—of course they weren’t—he worked an entire career as a federal agent. His first book, A Letter from Sicily, is a family saga inspired by his grandfather who was born in Sicily but relocated to the United States when he was a young child. He has a second book, Shadow Investigation, a fictional thriller crime story. His latest book, Peace River Village, a psychological police crime thriller, was published in 2024. The two latest books are available for purchase through all online book selling sites.
