Christine Bald is a freelance writer in the CrossFit space, where she has worked in a variety of media capacities since stumbling into an affiliate in 2013. Her professional writing career began in 2017, when Ben Bergeron tricked her into "helping" with his first book, aka writing the book. She also wrote Bergeron's second book, Unlocking Potential, and contributed to the development of Katrin's Davidsdottir's memoir, Dottir.

For the last two years, Christine has photojournaled the CrossFit Games in real time via Dave Castro's instagram. Mostly, this is an opportunity to flex her vast (and mostly useless) knowledge of millennial culture. But it's also the kind of writing Christine enjoys the most—the emotional, quintessentially human kind that reminds us that we all play for the same team.
