ChristinaJ is an award-winning novelist, for her debut children’s novel, Royal Planet. She wrote a story that her kids would find fun and interesting, while touching on various topics without feeling lectured. She used symbolism to get points across, so that regardless of the age of the reader, they will recognize the true meanings in the story. Christina was born in New York and grew up in New Jersey. Christina received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering and her Masters of Science in Systems Engineering. From there, she began her career as a Systems Engineer and then a Project Manager at a large US government defense contractor, where she gained extensive technical and business experience. Christina has always had a love of the arts. From a young age, she was classically trained in Indian dance. Her love for dance led her to found and operate two dance schools in New York and New Jersey. She is experienced in choreographing, teaching, and performing dance across North America, Europe, and Asia. Christina has performed on Broadway and has won several pageants throughout the years including Miss India NJ, Miss Millennium Beauty Queen and Miss Asia America. In addition, Christina was an actress and starred as one of the lead roles in the first Telugu movies filmed in the United States. Christina’s multi-cultural upbringing and interests give her a unique ability to write in an easy-to-understand style and believes it’s important that we all celebrate who we are, regardless of what others might think or even what we ourselves may feel.
