Christie Brightenston writes as a hobby for fun. Although she is not a social media fan, she does understand why people can become addicted to it. But she prefers a good old-fashioned spontaneous phone call where she can hear the sound of a person's voice, the inflections and the pauses, as it all adds to the conversation and creates a deeper emotional connection in the digital world of today. In her spare time, she enjoys looking at brilliant sunsets and at the moon, especially when it’s in the crescent stage, like the edge of a thumbnail, as she finds it so beautiful and soothing.
