Christian Dölder is the author of the epic fantasy saga The Chronicles of Wetherid.
Within this multifaceted world, he weaves political power struggles, moral conflict, and mythological structures into a continuous narrative written for an adult readership.

The Chronicles of Wetherid are structured into three distinct cycles:
Wetherid I – The Legacy of the Elves, the self-contained opening to the world;
the ongoing main series Wetherid II – The Guardians of the Seven Artifacts;
and the later cycle Wetherid III – The Secret of the Ice Flames.

Rather than focusing on traditional heroic archetypes, Dölder’s work centers on characters shaped by inner tensions, conflicted loyalties, and political pressure. His novels explore fragile alliances, covert power structures, and the consequences of choice in a world where moral certainty is rarely stable.

With The Chronicles of Wetherid, Dölder pursues a narrative approach that combines strategic worldbuilding with precise language, treating epic fantasy as a space for political, psychological, and social exploration.
