I believe that many "non-readers" are people like me, readers who lose focus when stories include too many details causing a loss of interest along the way. For that reason I prefer to write fast-paced novellas over full length novels. My stories are deliberately lean but still aim to deliver an emotional impact, and a strong narrative punch in a compact format. I was born and raised in South Florida then moved to North Carolina in 2005. My family will always be my greatest flex. I currently work a full-time job as an administrator in a Assisted Living Community, after working as an LPN for 20+ years. Both careers give me the ability to care for others and advocate for their rights.
