Chris and Jessica met in 2009 in the San Diego airport baggage claim at the beginning of a missions trip to Mexico and they both immediately knew that they were going to get married; so much so that Chris bought his wedding band on their free day in Tijuana as a promise to Jessica. They were married eleven months later and knew it was for a great purpose. Their lives were structured to be available to do missions-work, and they have served extensively in Alaska and many other countries. They sold everything they owned in 2014 to embark on a backpacking journey around the world and traveled to 24 countries serving in missions wherever they went. It was the most incredible year of their lives and you can read about it in their first published book The Line Between Faith & Stupidity. Since returning home they have worked hard to establish a solid foundation for their future family while living life fully with purpose while inspiring others along the way.
