Chris Bentley grew up in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains of Northern Utah where he loved hiking and camping. He received a Bachelors degree from Weber State University in Organizational Behavior and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Chris now lives in a small mountain town in Southern Idaho and works for the U.S. Forest Service as a District Ranger. He loves the way the job allows him to integrate his love of storytelling with beauty of the natural world. Chris has published two books to date--"Running on Merit," his first novel and "Moments of Joy - Fifty-Two Ideas to Nurture Greater Meaning from Life," which was publish May, 2023. The sequel to “Running on Merit,” will be coming out Spring 2924.
