Charlotte Gordon's most recent book is I Speak of Wrongs: Feuds, Friendships, and the Origins of the Women's Movement. She is also the author of Romantic Outlaws: The Extraordinary Lives of Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley (Random House), which won the National Book Critics Circle award for biography. Her other books include: Mary Shelley: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford University Press), Mistress Bradstreet: The Untold Life of America's First Poet (Little, Brown), The Woman Who Named God: Abraham's Dilemma and the Birth of Three Faiths (Little Brown), and two books of poetry: When the Grateful Dead Came to St. Louis and Two Girls on a Raft. A graduate of Harvard and Boston Universities, she has published articles in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and been interviewed on many podcasts, and radio and television programs. She is the distinguished professor of humanities at Endicott College in Beverly, MA.
