Charlie Lark is a retired private investigator with a passion for studying the criminal mind. After a brief stint as a police detective in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he went solo and spent three decades offering his services to government and civilian clients alike, working cases ranging from kidnappings to identity theft. Today he resides at an undisclosed location in Florida with his wife, Kaye, and enjoys reading and writing about true crime. He also collects antique dental equipment, and dabbles in taxidermy.
