CATHERINE LAW has written several historical women’s fiction novels set in the first half of the 20th century. Her stories revolve around the First and Second World Wars and are inspired by the tales our mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers tell us, and the secrets they keep. With dual timelines, or often from two people’s point of view, the books follow characters facing conflict within their families, as well as the trauma and drama of war as it develops around them. Catherine has always loved to write stories since childhood, and is inspired by travels both at home and abroad, setting her books in England, Scotland, France and Italy. She lives ten minutes from the sea in Kent.
