Catherine Hunt is a former BBC TV News journalist who has now found a new love in writing books. Someone Out There is her first thriller. Catherine started out as a journalist on local newspapers, including the Evening Argus in Brighton, UK, the town in which Someone Out There is set. She was also a reporter for the Press Association and the Daily Mail, before joining the BBC. For many years she edited the main BBC TV news shows, in particular she was the editor of the Six O'Clock News. She currently runs a media consultancy business.
