Carrie is the creator of best-selling adventure series THE FLYING FLAMINGO SISTERS (hailed by The New York Times as a Best Audiobook for Road Trips with Kids) and author of HORSE CAMP: A HORSE GIRL MYSTERY (a USA TODAY Bestseller) and HORSE GIRL, which has been translated into five languages and is being developed for television. Carrie's TV writing credits include the new BARBIE DREAMHOUSE ADVENTURES animated series, Netflix's BLIPPI'S JOB SHOW, YouTube Originals’ KID CORRESPONDENT (winner of an Environmental Media Award), several Nickelodeon comedy specials and an upcoming Disney live-action project. You can hear her voice in several audiobooks, animated series and commercials — where she's played everything from an evil robot to a sassy pickle. As a journalist and essayist, she's contributed to The New York Times, The Atlantic, Cosmopolitan, The New York Post, McSweeney’s, Architectural Digest and the book Mortified: Love is a Battlefield. Her "Outsourcing Love" essay was optioned for a feature film. Carrie grew up writing plays and riding horses with her sister, author Lindsay Seim, in the wide open spaces of Nebraska.
