Caitlyn Scaggs, M.S., is a bold communicator, creative strategist, and purpose-driven entrepreneur. She currently serves as the National Director of Marketing and Communications for Stop Soldier Suicide, where she brings powerful storytelling and mission-minded messaging to life. In addition, she leads her own consulting company, Connect 936, helping brands shine through smart marketing, authentic communication, and impactful PR. Caitlyn’s career path is anything but ordinary. A former police officer, she’s blended courage with creativity throughout her journey — delivering a TEDx talk, authoring a traditionally published book on women’s empowerment, and serving in senior leadership at Radford University. She also had a deeply meaningful role working for New Hope Girls, an organization that rescues girls and empowers women coming from the darkest of circumstances. She’s also a familiar face on WDBJ’s “Mornin’ Motivations”, where she co-hosts alongside Kimberly McBroom to inspire viewers to live with purpose, intention, and gratitude. No matter the platform, Caitlyn’s mission is clear: to help others rise up, show up, and live out their full, one-of-a-kind potential. When she’s not working, Caitlyn finds joy in life’s everyday adventures — especially with her family by her side. She loves traveling to Maine for its rugged beauty and coastal charm, hitting the trails for a good hike or run, and never says no to a great cup of coffee. These moments fuel her and inspire the passion she brings to both her personal and professional life.
