I came of publishing age during the outlaw brashness of NYC in the turbulent '70s, Encouraged by the editors of such masculine male jerk-off magazines, such as HONCHO, MANDATE, BLACK INCHES, DRUMMER, and the European magazine's TOY and MR. SM, to name a few, along with the more recen magazine INSTIGATOR. Relocating to Canada and, eventually, Europe exposed me to a more independent approach to a darker side of sex, physically and mentally. Grainy, seedy, dark, provocative, and just a touch of relevance for a decade. In 1984 I bought a leather bar, The Cuckoos Nest. Which˙ started as an open back room; even girls with their leather friends made use of the back room. Much is written about Cuckoos Nest's outrageous beginnings. I started chronicling my own experiences as an out-proud black kinkster, an avid chronicler of the lifestyle. My favorite writers are Rod Serling, Ray Bradbury.
