C.S. Doemner loves writing books that get children excited about travel by immersing them into different cultures. She and her family are currently traveling the world for two years, visiting sixty-five countries and all seven continents. As such, she decided to use her own family as the foundation for her story’s characters in her new middle-grade release, World Mystery Academy: Pursuit in Paris, the first in a series of books featuring culturally-complex mysteries around the world. C.S. Doemner gets inspiration for her stories from the many places around the world she is currently visiting with her husband and three young children. Often when Doemner writes, it feels as if she is writing down a movie that is playing out in her head, and it is being described to her as she types. An entrepreneur, artist, published author, wife, and mom, C.S. Doemner studied literature and philosophy at Biola and Oxford University. When she isn’t writing world-traveling adventure mysteries for children, Doemner is an entrepreneur, enjoys snorkeling, rock climbing, drawing and painting, traveling, watching movies, and reading. Her real-life globe-trotting has Doemner and her family currently visiting Belize, Argentina, and Antarctica, among other countries. Back home, they have a gigantic black cat named Bagheera and a golden hamster named Hammy. C.S. Doemner is also the published author of three non-fiction adult books. World Mystery Academy: Pursuit in Paris is her debut children’s novel.
